  • Kids learn by succedding and not by failing. > 15 years old you start learning by failing. The reason for this is that learning happens through variance. Kids often fail more often that they succeed at things. Whereas adults succeed way more often than they fail.
  • Grounding and incentives aren’t successful techniques
  • Teaching to follow the rules or what I say is not the important thing, the important thing is to teach your kids to be independent, self-reliant and make decisions that are good for them. E.g. don’t brush your teeth because I tell you to, brush your teeth because its beneficial for you
